Things to Do in Seattle Before Your Alaska Cruise

Most Alaska cruises depart from Seattle's Pier 91 or the Smith Cove Cruise Terminal. If you're arriving a day early (recommended), Seattle offers world-class food, culture, and waterfront activities within easy reach of the cruise terminal.

Pike Place Market is a 15-minute rideshare from the terminal. The Seattle Underground Tour explores the buried original city beneath Pioneer Square. For water activities, kayaking on Lake Union and whale watching in Puget Sound are available as half-day excursions.
